Upwork memes and New Year 2025 predictions

Hey guys! Hello from the amazing Lviv city. Today I won't give you instructions and tips as everyone are already a bit tipsy. Right?🥂

I was exploring Upwork for literally 10 years. And I see algorithm and its change all the time so some patterns are obvious.

My first prediction - skills and titles will be back as a main algorithm again.

2nd Tarot pick:) Boost profile function will appear in the catalog OR boost catalog feature will be back very soon.

3rd prediction. Skills and titles of previous work history will be in an algorithm like it was in November 2024.

4th guess. Upwork will fix their banning bot. Come on. It can't be too long for real. Insane bot and insane bans.

5th guess and a bit of hope: IPs and Verification process will become more tough but Upwork will finally find a normal way to manage messages inside the team.

6th guess. Upwork UMA AI will try to downgrade generic bids however I think they will decide too long letters as generic or those with thrilled, dice in etc words (UMA is not very smart)

7th Guess. New features. As we all see, they are copying features from the other marketplaces. The next will be....Clutch I think. They announced a long time ago that there will be a listing for agencies. So most probably they will do it as clutch does.
