Upwork removed RSS - what to do? Also news about JSS

Intro
Everyone knows that Upwork removed its RSS feature, and now many freelancers are suffering because of that.
There was even a petition to save the RSS.😆
I don't want to discuss whether it's bad or not; I just want to give you a couple of solutions you can use instead.
Solutions

I highly recommend it, as that way you will not only have an RSS but also get keywords/skills to add to your profile to get better results continuously.
It also has additional filters like hire rate so you don't overwhelm yourself with irrelevant bids.

Remember how many times I told you that you need to have more jobs with keywords in your account? Now it's even more relevant since Upwork has shared their JSS insights.

Time
First of all length of contract matters.
What does it mean? That guy with a $5 contract who didn’t close it, then forgot about you, and eventually closed it with 4 stars a year later could become your grave mistake, and you might lose your JSS in a second. It will count as 4 jobs (90 days * 4). Close your contracts often!
Jobs in progress
Your jobs in progress count now, but only if they have been ongoing for more than 90 days and the payment was made less than 90 days ago.
However, what does it mean for me? Upwork could revert to that rule when a job is on pause, and your JSS could go down. So don’t leave your contracts as they are without closing them.
Money
For contracts that you use to improve your JSS 😉 it's enough to have 1001$ now😄
