Most of my clients have UI UX Design or React JS Development niche. The benchmark is 20% view and 10% for reply. Is it good? Not so much comparing to 2021 where we had 30% reply rate. Good for the current Upwork stats!

Let's start from the results itself. 43% view and 20% reply. How to get it? The answer is niche!
Lanars agency has an amazing team full of mobile engineers and hardware specialists however when we found their Hardware niche, we found a conversion!

How to find and apply your niche?

That's how you can understand what is the niche that deserved your attention
- Make a full keyword research. Again. already here. That's how you will understand how to promote your profile/
- Apply manually or with bidding services. For example gigradar
- Grow organically
- Boost your profile
- Project catalog !
Tricks
- As you may see, there is still full stack development spec profile. You need to be really attentive when choosing your niche category. The category itself can be tricky or wide.
- Try to analyse what your clients are using as words to call you. For example I don't know what are the embedded systems at all.
- Add all 10 categories in your settings
- Apply with the specialised profiles only (more skills)
