Banned by Association: How a Client’s Account Can Take You Down on Upwork

This is a story with a happy end. We unbanned the guy!

But let me start from scratch. My client, let's call him Mister O (name is not real), has created a client's account on Upwork to hire someone but then changed his mind. So this account was not used at all. He just was not checking this client's account anymore so just ignored that Upwork sent him a letter:

One day he appeared in Upwork community saying

also he received an email:

Unban process.
We had a call and planned what to do. The strategy is always to
- know the reason. We knew. Didn't answer to Upwork on time..
- Write in a very tearing tone
- Write more and often
- Explain the position but always agree on your mistake

One more trick - attach everything as docs so that they will see it better.
